What will I be doing?
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an excellent teacher to join us at Charlton Mackrell Church of England Primary School as a full-time Year 5/Year 6 teacher from September 2026. We are a small and well supported village school comprising four classes and where the arts and sport are an important part of our curriculum. We provide a fun, supportive and kind environment where your well-being and that of the children are equally important.
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated class teacher to join us at our friendly and successful school. You will be an outstanding practitioner and passionate about children’s learning. You will have high expectations of what children can achieve and show:
- commitment to the ethos and Christian values of our school
- inspirational classroom practice and commitment to on-going professional development
- experience of, and commitment to, raising standards for all children
- a positive attitude to working as a team member
- a passion for teaching music or sport would be an advantage
