What will I be doing?
The Directors of King Ina Church of England Academy are seeking to appoint a committed and experienced Year 6 Teacher who is dynamic, enthusiastic and creative, for our thriving academy from January 2025. This is an exciting time to join our academy as we expand our provision to include an on-site Forest School and roll out the OPAL scheme (Outdoor Play And Learning).
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
This role is not suitable for Early Career Teachers.
The successful candidates will:
- Have a thorough knowledge of the primary curriculum and a wide range of teaching strategies
- Have knowledge and experience of teaching Year 6 in Key Stage 2
- Have high expectations of pupils to ensure they reach their potential
- Be creative in their approach to teaching and learning
- Be committed to collaborative learning and ongoing professional development
- Be supportive of the Academy’s approach to supporting children with social, emotional and mental health needs
