Salary Range: MS1 – UPS1 (+TLR 3 £3478 for taking on the SENCO role)

What will I be doing?

Combe St Nicholas is a small church school in the heart of the village of Combe St Nicholas, Somerset. It was rated “Good” by OFSTED in September 2022 and “Excellent” by SIAMS in December 2019. It is an inclusive school committed to giving an exciting and broad education for all. We have engaged children, keen to learn and an experienced staff who will warmly welcome a new colleague to the team.

We are looking for a full-time KS2 teacher to join our friendly and supportive team, from September 2026. A TLR is also available for someone who is able to take on the role of SENCO alongside their teaching role, for which non-contact time would be available. However, we are primarily looking for a really great class teacher first and foremost, so please do apply even if the SENCO role is not something you are able to currently do. We would also consider job shares for this role so again, please apply even if you are not necessarily looking for a full-time role.

This is a permanent role within our school. We are seeking a teacher with experience of mixed age planning and classes, who will embrace our project-based approach to the curriculum and who is willing to throw themselves into the life of our busy school community.
