Monday to Friday approximately 32 hours per week, to be confirmed.

Grade 15 (£20,812 –£22,737 pro rata) dependent on experience.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and friendly Teaching Assistant to support a child with additional learning needs on a one-to-one basis.

What will I be doing?

We are looking for someone who:

• Can develop children’s confidence and self-esteem while also establishing clear expectations and boundaries.
• Is experienced in working with children who have Special Educational Needs.
• Has a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting children’s needs, with a resilient mind-set.
• Can demonstrate good communication, listening, and questioning skills.
• Is committed to inclusion
• Is able to promote high standards of behaviour through positive language and attitudes.
• Has the ability to remain calm under all circumstance.
• Is willing and able to work collaboratively and flexibly with staff, parents/carers and other agencies as required.

The role will involve supporting children who have specific needs. This post is on a fixed term basis while the pupil is at Milverton School.
