Chilthorne Domer Church School is a happy, thriving school in a small village just outside Yeovil which is looking for the newest member of its school family.

We are looking to recruit a Lunch time catering assistant

  • 6.25 Hours per week term time only
  • Salary Grade 16 Point 2 (£24,796 pro rata)
  • Required to start September 2026

What will I be doing?

Do you have what it takes to join our established team of lunchtime staff? We are looking for someone who has a passion for working with children to join the Chilthorne Domer family. Lunchtime is a really important part of the day so we want to appoint people who are keen to make a difference to a child’s experience at school.

The role will include working with a team to offer a positive dining experience for our children. This will include setting up, serving and packing down after lunches. Please see the job description for more details. Previous experience of working with children/in a school is preferable but full training will also be given.
