£34,434 – £37,280 (Dependent on Experience) Pro Rata

28 hours per week (21 hours for management and 7 hours for coordinator)

Home-Start West Somerset is a voluntary organisation offering support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children in our local community. We work with trained volunteers who visit families at home and offer them informal, confidential and flexible support. Home-Start West somerset also provides a parenting pathway of parenting Programmes.

We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and inspirational new Manager/Senior Coordinator to lead our Minehead-based team.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

It is essential that candidates have a strong understanding of the needs of families with young children and knowledge of current related legislation and policies. They will need to have relevant previous experience of the voluntary sector, managing projects, teaching adults, and supporting families as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Use and ownership of a car is essential.
