What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
Our inclusive community primary school is seeking an energetic and empathetic SEN Learning Support Assistant to work with Key Stage 1 and 2 children, meeting their social, emotional and medical needs.
You will work under the supervision of a teacher to provide care and support for teaching and learning, and associated activities in accordance with school policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will:
- Have a passion for supporting the education and wellbeing of our wonderful children
- Have a flexible approach and ability to work as part of a team
- Be willing to participate fully in all aspects of school life
- Demonstrate excellent classroom practice
- Be prepared to administer medical care
- Have the ability to think on their feet and use their initiative
