Salary: Grade 15 point 3-4 – £13.28-£13.48 per hour depending on experience – pro rata 38 weeks plus 3 inset days.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

We would love to hear from people who have the patience, flexibility, calm manner, energy, and enthusiasm with a positive ‘can do’ attitude to support children with additional needs. Experience of working with children with significant needs is desirable but not essential.

Holway Park School is an inclusive and nurturing school. You will work closely with the SENCO and teachers to provide tailored support for all pupils with learning difficulties including sensory needs.

The successful candidate will:

  • Essential- Have a good standard of English and Maths at the equivalent to GCSE Grade 4/C
  • Be positive, approachable, flexible and work effectively in a team.
  • Be patient and supportive of children with additional needs whilst also having high expectations for them.
