• Salary: Grade 12 Point 12-19 (£14.36 – £16.10 per hour)
• Job type: Part Time, Fixed Term
• Hours: 12 hours per week (term time only with the possibility of a few days’ work in the holidays)

Job overview:

Glastonbury based, to support the families of:

• St John’s C of E VC Infant School and Jumping Johns Nursery (1 day a week)
• St Benedict’s C of E VA Junior School (1 day a week)

The post, initially, is fixed term until the end of March 2026. The post is part time and term time only (subject to funding).

What will I be doing?

The Headteachers and Governors are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic PFSA to help support the families of the Glastonbury area.

What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?

If you have knowledge and experience of:

• working with families and children
• accessing services for families and children
• supporting parents with parenting classes
• Early Help Agenda
• Team Around the School / Family

If you have the ability to:

• Relate to a wide audience of people
• Able to support yet challenge
• Contribute to professional meetings
• Demonstrate excellent safeguarding practises
• Organise your own time and work remotely effectively
