ESS Education and Support Services is a charitable organisation based at the Langport Community Hub. Following the award of Big Lottery funding, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Community Engagement Co-ordinator to lead our community engagement, fundraising, and communications work.
What will I be doing?
Key responsibilities include:
- Advocating for and engaging with local residents, groups, schools, councils, and businesses
- Co-ordinating the Hub’s programme of events, workshops, and activities
- Writing and managing funding applications and funder relationships
- Developing and delivering a marketing and communications strategy
- Chairing the Community Committee and supporting wider strategic development
What kind of experience or qualifications do I need?
Essential requirements: Demonstrable experience in fundraising and/or marketing; strong written communication skills; confident relationship-builder; organised and self-motivated; commitment to community and social justice values.
